Eli Heckman is an individual with a BFA in New Media with a minor in Chinese. They were born in Raytown, Missouri, and grew up in Taichung, Taiwan. In the past, they have taken inspiration from being a third culture kid and integrated their struggle with identity and the grief of homesickness for their hometown into their art. Recently, they have been experimenting with pixel art as a design on things other than game sprite art. They have chosen to incorporate pixel art into different printmaking and fiber art mediums while still exploring the ideas of character design and game making.
